Members
All of our members are punctual, organized, positive and approachable leaders, who are able to work well with others with little supervision. The children are very fond of them! We would strongly recommend any of our members as reliable and creative team players.

Tamara Solynshkina

Tamara Solnyshkina has participated in the Magic Forest Program for two academic years from January 05, 2011 to May 30, 2012. Overall, she contributed eighty eight hours to the success of the program.
Tamara has been an indispensable leader of the "Animate and Inanimate" section of the program. She taught children about the wonders of live creatures and scientific inventions. Through her work Tamara has proven herself to be a creative teacher who was able to find the most amazing facts about living species and technological advances and explain them to the children through role-playing games, interactive presentations and homework assignments. All of her classes were conducted in Russian.
Tamara has also participated in the three plays that we staged in-house for our young students and their parents. She is a confident actor. During the year-end play, she played the dryad who wanted to test the children's knowledge of nature before she lets them through her forest on their quest.
The Russian Cultural Club "ERUDITE" is very grateful to Tamara for her enthusiasm and dedication to the Magic Forest Program.
My name is Tamara Solnyshkina. I am a teacher in Magic Forest program. I enjoy working with children, who, just like me, couldn't wait until the next day of our classes. Children are awesome! They love to learn, but want the learning to be fun. If I succeed in engaging them and turn them into early learners, their high-school years will become much more enjoyable. Every day presents a new discovery to a child. I am happy that I can help them with that! - Tamara Solnyshkina

Anastasia Minasyants

Anastasia Minasyants has participated in the Magic Forest program for two academic years from September 8, 2011 to May 30, 2012. Overall, she contributed one hundred and one hours to the success of the program.
Anastasia has been a creative leader of the "Taleteller" section of the program, helping children advance their spoken and comprehensive Russian. She must be credited for finding the most engaging and age-appropriate Russian stories, poems and tales to read, discuss and memorize with children. At her classes, children learned about Russian literary arts, customs, traditions and cultural differences. All of her classes were conducted in Russian.
As a part of our farewell year-end party, Anastasia chose a script and helped children stage a short performance for their parents. Anastasia has also participated in the three plays that the club staged in-house for our young students and their parents. She is an expressive actor.
The Russian Cultural Club "ERUDITE" is very grateful to Anastasia for her enthusiasm and dedication to the Magic Forest Program.
My name is Anastasia Minasyants. I am an Armenian, but I love the Russian language and Russian culture nonetheless. This is one of the reasons why I joined Club "Erudite". I also love everything that has to do with theater, dance, singing and drawing. I am engaged in all of these activities. Because of my creativity I like to turn my lessons in the Magic Forest into little adventures. Being a teacher is rewarding. Being a creative teacher - even more so. We are all very fortunate to have a Russian club where we can think and act outside of the box! - Anastasia Minasyants

Hello, I am Katerina Ostrovsky, and I am very much unique! I love to help others as much as I like to spend time and laugh with my friends. I love swimming, dancing, singing and performing. I have been member of club "Erudite" for three years, its every meeting turning into a new adventure for me. I speak English, French and Russian. I love all animals, especially my dog. Like other teenagers I like spending mornings in bed, but when I am up to something, I always see it through. I never stop until I am completely satisfied with the results. I want to be a leader! If I see an area where I can apply myself, I always take initiative. People follow me because I can organize not only myself, but also others." - Katerina Ostrovsky.

All of her classes were conducted in Russian.

Special thanks to Kristina for playing guitar and learning Russian songs with children.
The Russian Cultural Club "ERUDITE" is very grateful to Kristina for her enthusiasm and dedication to the Magic Forest Program.
I am always looking forward to our meetings in the Magic Forest. I like how our program is different from formal school activities in its unorthodox approach to conducting lessons. To keep our lessons engaging and fun, we can turn into planets, insects or fairy-tale characters. Games make studying interesting. When children like it, they become extremely involved. It inspires me to become even more imaginative. Besides, children are the cutest beings on Earth!" - Kristina Bukharova

Sergey Bukharov

Sergey Bukharov has participated in the Magic Forest Program for two academic years from September 8, 2011 to May 30, 2012. Overall, he contributed 103.5 hours to the success of the program.

He, in turn with his partner Ilia Kouznetsov, has planned and conducted experiments through which children were able to observe and learn about various chemical and physical laws in action. Sergey was able to convey complex laws to the children through simple and demonstrative experiments. He provided enrichment in the subjects of physics and chemistry. All of his classes were conducted in Russian.
Sergey has also played leading roles in the three plays that we staged in-house for our young students and their parents. During the year-end play, he played an antagonist Kaktusom who was adamant to ruin the festive atmosphere of the party where children and parents got together to celebrate the joy of learning. Everybody was thrilled with his performance.
The Russian Cultural Club "ERUDITE" is very grateful to Sergey for his enthusiasm and dedication to the Magic Forest Program.
I have been working with children in different organizations for the last five years, and I whole-heartedly enjoy it. Children are sincere, kind and trusting. One is required to be very knowledgeable to succeed in the modern world, so children should expect long years of learning, both inside and outside of the school system. My parents used to engage me in after-school activities all the time. There I learned things that are not taught in schools - the Russian language, for example. I remember how much I wanted to watch TV instead of studying and how my mother tried to motivate me to continue learning. Now, that I became a teacher I learned a very important lesson myself: lessons don't have to be boring. You just need to think outside the box!" - Sergey Bukharov

I attended the program along with my little sister. She was a student, and I was her teacher. My mother has participated, too. She was running and coordinating the whole program along with the other adults, Natalia Sudakova and Olga Bukharova. They, by the way, were coming over with their children, as well. If you want to meet new people and have fun with them, this is a great program for the whole family!" – Ilia Kouznetsov
